IAWP (International Association of Workforce Professionals)
formerly named IAPES (International Association of Personnel
in Employment Security) is a professional organization
for members whose jobs relate to employment security
or workforce development systems.
As a professional organization, IAWP focuses on providing
its members with the tools to meet the challenges in
our ever-changing workplaces.
IAWP is concerned about you and your career.

for workforce professionals since 1913. But don't take

and chapters, the Annual International Conference, the
Professional Development Program, scholarships and grants.
Legislative Advocacy and Awareness: With the help
of a Washington D.C. liaison, IAWP keeps members informed
of legislation affecting the workforce profession.

Professional is focused on providing readers with practical
information they can use in everyday work life. Members
receive the newsletter six times per year. IAWPonline.org
is streamlined, easy to use, and full of useful content.

country and around the world.
Inexpensive: It's well worth the money! International,
chapter-affiliated membership dues are only $90 per
year. EDD employees may receive a discount (ask your
recruiter!). Retirees receive an even better discount!
Bonus time: Discounts and other extra advantages of
membership.
Education and Training where you live . . .
District: On average, 1,500 members benefit from more
than 100 hours of training presented at multi-chapter
(district) institutes.
Chapter: Chapter institutes and conventions offer
more than 600 hours of training to an average of 12,000
attendees per year.
Subchapter: Training is available at the local level
through subchapter institutes, where an average of 2,500
members participate in more than 300 hours of educational
activities.
